INTERNING AT DISNEY
After attending the Grace Hopper Women in Computing 2017 conference, I was selected to intern at Disney this summer. I interned for Angela Glass of the Disney | ABC Television Group. My focus was on DisneyNOW with a concentration on measurable inclusive design and accessibility in technology

A11Y & INCLUSIVE DESIGN
My internship at Disney taught me that accessibility allows us to tap into every individual’s latent potential - I tried to create an Accessibility Testing Lab at Disney. After the internship, I went on to building a startup in college called AxisAbility.

WHAT EXCITES ME EVERY MORNING?
I grew up in Dubai, where I developed my passion for languages. At Georgia Tech, my interdisciplinary undergrad in computer science & design and Masters in Digital Media taught me to sculpt a human centered approach to design functional and aesthetically apt user interfaces. I've worked for Microsoft & Disney and strive to be an accessibility expert.
