DRAFTS BEFORE USING PHOTOSHOP

Here are some examples of my drawings without the editing on photo shop. In order to make the rectangle more symmetrical, I had to use the warp tool on photo shop. I used the pen tool to draw over any rough ages to clean up the drawing. I decreased the brightness so that the brown would become a black color and the lines would be more bolded.

WHAT DID I DO

The composition of basic elements such as a dot, line or shape can be the abstract representation of any topic. Through this practice, I explored primitive elements to create various and interesting compositions for the topics: order, war, peace and chaos. The four thumbnails varied in the use of components, but were meant to deliver a constant sensation of the given topic. In this project, I explored emphasis, contrast, isolation, placement, pictorial balance and symmetry.

USING PHOTOSHOP

Before reaching the final versions, I used tools like photo shop to change the color of the marker to black, make the edges sharper, and clear up any smudges or unnecessary marks.
